Wedding photography at Almiral de la Font, Sitges
More than a year ago, I had my first contact with Olivia and Sam, a lovely couple who chose me to capture one of the most important days of their lives. Olivia kept me updated on every detail of the process, which made me feel even more connected to their wedding from the beginning. When I found out that their entire family would be traveling from the UK to celebrate their love at the stunning Almiral de la Font, I knew this wedding would be something special.
A destination wedding, intimate and full of family love
Destination weddings have always felt magical to me, and Olivia and Sam’s wedding was no exception. The people who accompany you on such a day are the most important ones—those who genuinely celebrate your life and love. In this case, the couple had the joy of sharing this day with their entire family and closest friends. Almiral de la Font, located near Sitges and offering spectacular views of the Mediterranean, provided the perfect backdrop for this special day.
A celebration full of life (and playful kids!)
One of the things I loved most about this wedding was the presence of so many children. Olivia and Sam, parents of two and uncles of four, didn’t just embrace the energy and spontaneity of the little ones—they celebrated it. Instead of seeing the presence of children as something tricky, it was truly a gift. The kids brought a level of authenticity and pure joy that made every moment even more special.
A perfect example was when one of the children started clipping clothespins to Olivia’s wedding dress during the reception. I even ended up with a few on my own clothes! These kinds of unique and authentic moments are the ones I love to capture because they tell a story that goes beyond the traditional and shows the true essence of a day filled with love and connection.
Romantic, minimalist, and full of beauty
Olivia and Sam dreamed of a wedding in white tones—romantic yet minimalist. Loving the Flowers Garden took care of decorating the altar and tables, creating an elegant and delicate atmosphere that perfectly reflected the couple’s style. Each flower and every detail was carefully considered, adding a touch of freshness and simplicity that turned the space into a perfect canvas for my documentary-style photography.
The special touch: makeup and live music that moved us
The day began with Olivia and her bridesmaids getting ready, and they all looked stunning thanks to Mika Machado, who expertly did their hair and makeup. Her attention to detail made everyone look radiant. You can check out her work on Instagram at @Mika.hairmake.
One of the most emotional moments was the live music. The Party Professors, an incredible duo, provided the soundtrack to the celebration, and there wasn’t a dry eye when their songs filled the air. Their ability to connect with the audience and create special moments made this wedding truly unforgettable.
Eskisit catering: exquisite from start to finish
Another highlight of the wedding was, without a doubt, the delicious food prepared by Eskisit catering. Not only did they spoil the guests with a delightful meal, but the cakes they served were the perfect sweet touch to an unforgettable celebration. If you ever have the chance to taste their creations, don’t miss out.
